Car Wash Terror

Yesterday we had some time to kill and the van was dirty so we went to go get it washed. My mom gave us some automatic car wash coupons before moving to Denver so we thought that we’d put them to use.

Hannah does not care so much for the car wash. I’m not sure if it’s the noise, the dim lighting, the water spraying the windows, or a combination of all three. We always wish that we had a camera with us to get her reaction caught on film. (Yes, I know that there’s no film in digital cameras. Get off my back.) Yesterday I had the camera with us and decided that I’d try to get some video footage. I was successful. It’s a silent movie but I feel that the sheer terror experienced by our little girl was captured quite well. The graininess of it also adds to the terror. As you can see, it was very, very entertaining.

When I win whatever award is given to the parent who terrifies their child the most, I’ll be sure to thank my mom because without her giving us those car wash coupons, we never could have had this laugh.

I know that I’m horrible for posting this on the internet. The whole family is horrible for laughing at her. You’re also horrible for laughing at her. (You know that you did.)
