I love gummy bears. When I was on my mission, a small candy store opened in Maseru, Lesotho that sold American gummy bears. Sure, they were insanely expensive, but I bought them anyway because I love gummy bears.
Last night I was in class and one of my friends mentioned how a half-pound gummy bear exists. And to make it even better, it’s on a stick! That’s right, there is a gummy bear on a stick that weighs a half of a pound. The gummy bear on a stick measures in at four inches tall and is the equivalent of 88 regular gummy bears. What’s not to like about that? The answer: nothing.
As many of you now know, we had a baby a few months ago. Yeah, I know that I’m late but better late than never, right? While I actually Tweeted our time at the hospital, I know that many of our readers don’t follow me on Twitter. Consequently, they may not be familiar with the events surrounding Lincoln’s birth.
Because I have a serious lack of time, and because I’ve also typed this all out once, here is a Twitteriffic time line of Lincoln’s birth:
At hospital. It looks like there may be a new Zohner tonight. 10:36 PM Dec 21st, 2009
Waiting for the doctor to come and let us know if Holly gets to stay and have baby or if we have to try again another day. 11:48 PM Dec 21st, 2009
Contractions are 3-4 minutes apart. I hope they don’t send us home. 11:49 PM Dec 21st, 2009
I know that I’m about a week late in posting this, but I’m later than that in posting other stuff so I don’t feel too bad. A year ago I promised that I’d post something about the Billy Joel/Elton John Face to Face concert. After nearly a year of waiting for the concert to actually happen, the night finally arrived. (In case you weren’t aware, it was originally scheduled for November but was rescheduled because Elton John had swine flu and Billy Joel was suffering from exhaustion.)
Since I know a few people who are currently looking for work, I thought that I would post this short video that is sure to help everyone in their job interviews. If you question just how well it can help you, I have just two words for you: it’s Batman. Are you saying that Batman cannot help you? Because if you are, that’s just sad and you’re very, very wrong.
On an unrelated note, I know that our poor blog has been somewhat neglected for the past few weeks. I’m seriously hoping to change that. Since school has started up again though, I’m experiencing a serious time crunch. The fact that I actually work at work isn’t helping either. (I hate it when work gets in the way of my blogging.) I have a few changes in store that will be explained when they happen so please keep coming back, or better yet, add us to your RSS feed so you can know when they happen.
