The Pinks Of Their Eyes

This morning, Alex woke up screaming.  Holly went in to see what the problem was and found him standing in the middle of the room with his eyes closed.  Holly asked him what was wrong and he told her that he couldn’t open his eyes.  She asked if they were glued shut and he said that they were.  He also said that Emma did it.  (Emma can be so mean. ;) )  She took him into the bathroom and cleaned the excessive amounts of eye boogers out so that he could once again see.

It was at this point that Holly was convinced that she, Alex, Emma, Chelsea, and maybe Hannah all have pink eye.  She took the kids to the doctor where her thoughts were confirmed.  Chelsea got lucky and just has allergies.  For now.

I’m still pink eye free and I hope to stay that way.  I would prefer to not have a leaky eye at this point in my life.  That’s best case scenario though.  I could end up looking like Sloth from The Goonies.

Well, I have finally revisited your website!  I’m sorry to hear about the pink eye.  I think Kimberly has it too.  She kept complaining about her eye hurting tonight.  When I took a look at it, it was all red and goopy…nasty :)  Don’t tell anyone, but I used some of Alicia’s leftover pink eye medicine when she had it awhile back.  John probably told you that our camping trip got cancelled because of the weather.  I’m so glad we’re not camping now! I can’t believe how much rain we’ve gotten.  In fact, there was a recent flood warning and high wind warnings for the area where we would have been camping.  We were laughing over the comments by the National Weather service - they said anyone in that area should immediately take cover inside.  We figured our tent wouldn’t have qualified!Dana
