What Hannah Thinks Is Funny
This morning at breakfast, Hannah took a break from eating her cereal and began laughing hysterically. I asked her what was so funny and she responded with a simple, two word answer: “My bum.”
I think that the human body is hilarious. It’s full of holes and makes a plethora of sounds. To top it off, some of those sounds have smells accompanying them. These smells can be funny if used in appropriate places like crowed elevators or on somebody’s pillow. If used incorrectly though, they can be very unpleasant. Apparently Hannah also finds the human body with its assorted sounds and smells funny.
I asked Hannah what was so funny about her bum. I thought that she’d say something like… well, I don’t know what I expected her to say. I do know though that I didn’t expect her to say what she did. She answered with, “It burped. I farted.”
She then began laughing hysterically again. Her answer also made me and Emma laugh. Holly, being the responsible one, knowing that laughing only encourages more farting at the table then laughing about it, did everything she could to restrain herself. Her response: “That was funny.” Holly was right, it was funny.

The body does do funny things. Like when your belly button turns black when you eat olives.
Yeah. That one has always fascinated me.
Does it really?
