They Lie!
Nothing gets me madder quicker than hearing a politician tell me that the planet is going to spontaneously explode in a huge ball of flame due to somebody driving a big SUV. Especially when said politician flies all over the world in private jets.
I’ve gone over the fallacy of global warming before so I won’t do it again. However, I have recently come across some information that proves to me that global warming is a load of crap being perpetuated by cultists that are striving for a one world government.
The main thing that recently got my attention was a scientist on a national radio show saying that the average global temperature has not increased for nine years. I wanted to find a reliable source to back this up and came across this article from 2006. Basically it says that global warming stopped in 1998. For the global warming crowd, this is bad news. Since there’s scientific evidence that the Earth is not warming, man-made global warming can’t be happening.
I have also come across a few different websites that are dedicated to global warming. The first is World Climate Report. Like me, they seem to think that global warming fanatics like Al Gore are full of crap. Naturally, I like them but they are definitely not neutral on the issue.
Climate Debate Daily is a bit more balanced. They provide arguments both for and against global warming. Because they show both sides of the issue, they seem to be a good source of information. They provide links to actual articles so you can get the information and decide for yourself.
People who know me know that I love nature. I like clean air and water and believe that we need to take care of our planet. However, I think that global warming theory is a bunch of crap. I see it as a scare tactic being used by liberals to increase their power base and force society to conform to their will.
Hitler convinced Germany that the Jews were evil. Now Al Gore is trying to do the same using global warming. He would have you believe that if you don’t pay your indulgences, errr… carbon offsets, and drive a hybrid, then you’re part of the problem. Personally, I think that if you spend more to heat just one of your houses than most people make in a year and fly around in private jets, you shouldn’t be calling people out.
