As I have been going through some of our old posts, I realized that we haven’t given a really good update on the family lately. I have some time to kill while some software installs so here’s something keep you entertained.
Hannah: She’s doing really well… except for the fact that she has a bad cough and a runny nose for the last week. She’s getting better though. She constantly has a dirty face and I can’t figure out why. I wash it multiple times a day but there’s always something there… She’s also pretty much potty trained which is nice because I’m done with diapers forever. Or at least until I have to wear them.
Alex: He’s also doing really well… except that Hannah gave him the illness that she’s been fighting. He’ll get better though. He’s only been sick for a couple of days. He is also doing well in school. At least I think he is. Nobody has told me he’s not so I’m assuming the best. His speech is getting much better too which is nice since I can usually understand what he is talking about now.
Emma: She’s such a good kid. She is enjoying piano lessons but not the practicing part. That’s pretty typical though. She is a great student and a huge help to Holly and I around the house. I think that sometimes she forgets that we’re the parents and she’s not. She really looks out for her brother and sister and wants to make sure that they do what’s right which is good. Another set of eyes is always helpful.
Holly: Holly is super busy. School pretty much monopolizes her time. She gets up very early and goes to school then comes home and studies until bedtime. It’s very stressful and consequently, very hard on her but she is doing amazing. I’m so proud of her. She’ll make a great nurse.
Jeremiah: I’m busy too but not as busy as Holly. My job is going very well. When I get home from work, Hannah is usually so excited to see me that she runs into my arms. It’s nice to come home to that. School is going well for me and I’m very excited to finally have a legitimate degree after this semester. I had an encounter with a crazy lady this morning that I’ll have to save for another post. Actually there’s not much to post about her other than she was crazy. I guess I won’t save it for another post since I just shared. Also, I saw a barn owl on my way home from work last night. It was cool!
Chelsea: Since she lives with us, and rarely updates her own blog, I guess I better mention her. 
Chelsea has a new boyfriend so between work, school, and her newfound social situation, we rarely see her. She’ll show up when she’s hungry but other than that… Actually, I think that she’s doing well. I know that she feels like a refugee with having to live in the middle of a construction zone and that hard hat can’t be comfortable to sleep in but she’s holding up relatively well. We’re happy to have her around.
Oscar: He’s a dog. He likes to sleep. The other day, his stomach was making a lot of noises. I think he had gas. His farts stink really bad. Lucky for us he was holding them in.
Well, that’s it. As you can see, things are going well. Chaos has overtaken our lives but we try to keep that chaos somewhat organized. Fortunately it hasn’t consumed us like Rosie O’Donnell consumes Ding Dongs.

Well Jeremiah, you about summed it up. That is our life. And it is going pretty well right now. I think that all of us are doing well and are happy. I know that I am.
Jer, Hannah’s face is always dirty because she is always able to find something to eat. I show up to use your dining room table for study space as well. Oh and the bathroom. For various reasons. So I don’t just live here for food. I’m glad you enjoy my presence in your home. I like living here as well.
