I’ve been wanting to post a new blog for a bit but haven’t really had the chance. Work has been very busy and I haven’t been getting on the computer when I get home at night. As I was driving home tonight from work, I was thinking about what I would write about. I really had no idea.
On the radio, they were discussing how Brittney Spears’ little sister is pregnant. (Way to go Brittney’s mom! I love how you’ve let your kids go to crap.) I could post about that but the jokes come too easily and I would probably get mean. My general dislike for celebrity and the fascination that America has with it would make for a funny but not very nice blog.
With the disaster that is Brittney Spears and her family off of the table, what else could I write about? Well, it’s snowing here… a lot. I was in the middle of a blizzard and thought that I could post something about the snow but that’s not very fun. Unless of course I mentioned how some fool tried to make a U-turn in the middle of a jammed Main Street. Wait, that’s not fun; it’s stupid. Who does that kind of stuff? Fools, that’s who.
When I got home, I checked my email and found a message from somebody letting me know that Jericho makes it triumphant return in only a few short weeks. February 12th to be exact. YAY! This is something that I was aware of and keep meaning to post but, like I said, I’ve been busy. It keeps slipping my mind. (Sign of old age? Probably.) Not only is one of the best shows in television history coming back after being canceled, I also have a topic for my blog: the return of Jericho.
