Time For A New Car?

Today was a great day. Things were going just peachy for me. That is, until I left work and discovered that the battery in my car was dead. OK, I’m partially to blame for this. I forgot and left my headlights on. But the battery was dead anyways. I couldn’t charge it and once it got started, it kept dying.

I figured that since I couldn’t go more than two blocks without the car dying on me, that I would need to buy a new battery. I took it to get tested before buying a new one and the guy told me that it had less than one volt of power. It needs twelve. He said that there was no way that I would be able to get the battery to hold a charge. I assume that he wanted to sell me a new battery but still, he had a point. I ended up buying a new battery and driving home.

Now there’s a new problem; my radio doesn’t work. :( I’m thinking that I blew a fuse somewhere along the line but they all seem to test OK. Somebody said that there might be a fuse on the back of the radio itself so I need to check that when I get a moment tomorrow.

I think that I need a new car. I don’t want another car payment though. I’m cheap and I can freely admit that. Maybe I should park the car someplace where I know that someone will run into it. That way, they can buy me a new car. Just kidding… maybe…

it sounds like the radio has a code in which you need to enter in order for it to work after ther battery has been disconnected try that first before buying a new car LOL

Actually the reason that the radio stopped working is because there is a fuse in the back of it that blew. Once that was replaced, the radio worked fine.
