For the last few weeks, Emma’s remaining front tooth has been working it’s way loose. I have threatened to pull it on more than one occasion, but after the last time, she’s very reluctant to let me do so. Since we’re going camping this weekend, I told her that if it wasn’t out by Friday, I’m going to yank it. Guess I won’t be doing that now…
Last night we had some of our friends children over while they went to the movies. One of their girls kicked Emma in the mouth while they were rough housing and just about knocked the tooth clean out. I tried tying a string to it and pulling it the rest of the way out but it was too loose and the string wouldn’t stay on the tooth. Emma was nervous about me pulling it and it was late and I was tired so I just let it be. This morning, Holly decided that she was going to yank it and tied a piece of string around the root. (Yeah, that’s how loose it is.) When she tightened the string, the tooth just fell out. No pain. No screaming Emma. Now Emma has a huge hole in the front of her face. I’ll have to post pics when I get some time.
By the way, when the tooth fairy visits tonight, I hope that the dogs don’t wake me up with their barking.
