Today I took the Network+ exam. It basically tests to see how well a person knows generic networking. I have been working on this off and on for the past year or so but with me thinking about leaving Unisys, I figured that I better finish it in case I end up quitting soon since Unisys pays the $225 for the exam.
I have studied and studied and then studied some more. I’ve read books and found stuff on the internet. I don’t even know how many hours I have spent on this. As I clicked “Finish” in the testing center, my stomach started turning in knots. I thought that I was going to vomit from nerves. A minute later I see “Congratulations” flash on the screen and I realized that all of my hard work wasn’t for nothing; I can now claim to be Network+ certified as I go out looking for a new job.
