No. I’m not talking about the Jazz. They still have at least one more game. Hopefully more.
Last night, Emma had her last soccer game of the year. Once again she spent a lot of time playing goalie and we spent lots of time cheering her on. Over the season she has really improved and I think that she has enjoyed it more that she sometimes wants to admit. I think that she especially likes to play goalie and she’s pretty good at it too. She only allowed one goal during the final game but usually she blocks way more shots than she lets get through. The game ended in a 1-1 tie but I’ve learned that the kids don’t really care. They just like to run around and kick the ball.
Last year, Emma played t-ball. This year she played soccer. I think that she really enjoys both but she has said that next year she doesn’t want to play soccer again. She always mentions that after the games in which she runs for about 45 minutes non-stop. We’ll have to wait for next spring to see what her decision is but I have the feeling that she’ll end up playing again.
