Hannah is the sweetest. She says thank you when you give her something or when you tuck her in to bed. She loves her dolls and pink bunny. She goes to sleep listening to the music played by her frog, Baby Tad. She loves to eat. She is starting to say a lot of words and loves Elmo. She can spot Elmo when she sees him and she says, “Elmo! Elmo!” She loves to have her hair done and will go get me a hairbrush and have me brush it until I tell her she is all done.
Alex is a very sweet and loving boy. He is funny and cute but can be a destructive little boy too. His favorite thing to do since it has been winter is to wear his snow boots everywhere. He loves to take them off when it is time for bed and he carefully places them next to his bed making sure they are perfectly lined up. Also, he will be seen with mittens on wherever he goes and that includes when he is sleeping in bed. When he is up and playing, he usually has his fireman’s helmet on as well as the boots and mittens. He got a tool belt with plastic Elmo tools and he has been destructive with the hammer and making dents in the walls and when he is allowed to play with the light sabers, he usually is too rough and hits one of the dogs or one of his sisters. He is doing much better with speaking. There are some sounds that he can’t make yet. This past week he and Hannah were sick with a cold. He had a runny rose and discharge in his eyes. And for three nights in a row he would wake up crying because he couldn’t open his eyes because they were glued shut and I would have to wash them out with a washcloth.
Emma is starting to read chapter books. Her favorites are Junie B Jones and the Magic Tree House books. She is getting much better in her handwriting and loves to play computer games in her free time.
